Land Clearing Services

Full-Service Land Clearing & Custom Milling — Southern Maine & New Hampshire

At Beaver Works Leasing, we handle everything from standing timber to finished lumber, keeping your project in one set of hands from start to finish.

Got trees crowding your yard, a lot that needs clearing before you can build, or a field that's slowly being swallowed up by the woods? We've got the equipment to take care of it. Our Kubota M6060 logging tractor — with a 60-HP diesel engine, 11,000 lb winch, and grapple — handles felling, skidding, and stacking with ease. Coming soon, we're adding an excavator with a grapple saw for precise tree removal and efficient log handling, plus a forestry mulcher that turns brush, stumps, and small trees into clean ground cover right where they stand — no burn pile, no hauling.

Please note that we do not perform hazard tree removal or any work requiring a licensed arborist. For those situations, we're happy to point you in the right direction.

For-hire land clearing work starts with an operator rate of $60/hour on top of the equipment base fee, but honestly, no two jobs are priced the same. A half-acre lot with easy access and uniform trees is a completely different animal than a steep, brush-choked hillside with mixed timber and limited room to maneuver. Acreage, terrain, tree size, access, and what you want done with the material all factor in. We give straightforward quotes after seeing what we're working with — no surprises.

What makes us different is what we do with the wood once it's down. Instead of watching good timber go to waste, we mill those logs into real, usable lumber on-site with our Turbosawmill — boards, beams, and slabs ready for a barn, a fence line, a camp, or whatever you're building next. Milling runs $250/day plus a $60/hour operator fee, and again, the scope depends entirely on your logs and what you need cut.

We're local, we're equipped, and we take pride in leaving your land better than we found it. Ready to get started? Give us a call at (207) 200-1920 or email us at info@beaverworksleasing.com — tell us what you've got and we'll come take a look.

We offer both our sawmills and logging tractor for rental or can operate as a for-hire service. These services are only available to customers in the local southern Maine and southern New Hampshire regions.

When we have unique wood slabs or lumber in stock, we will post them here. Custom woodworking pieces can be commissioned from our stock of slabs and lumber.
